My little brother got my parents' old laptop to play with, and he finally wanted to try fortnite.
The laptop is not really old now, it was only replaced by a newer one from our parents for work, so my brother got it for a few games. He still has around 100 GB of free memory, although we still have to clean out our parents' old files, but he runs perfectly.
Since we were unfamiliar with installing Fortnite, we followed YouTube videos with instructions and finally downloaded EpicGames. Then we should download Fortnite (hope the steps are correct so far)
And then when we clicked DOWNLOAD for Fortnite it said: Not enough space. We were very puzzled because, according to the Internet, Fortnite is currently supposed to need around 20 GB of storage, and when we checked it was confirmed that the laptop still had around 100 GB of storage free.
We tried all sorts of things, looked at instructions and still couldn't get any further.
Does anyone know what that is? Did we do something wrong? Or overlooked something?
Fortnite needed 85 Gb in March. But I don't know if there are more now. You may not be able to install Fortnite because Fortnite still reserves extra space for updates
