What is the best way to get pictures from a laptop to a cell phone?

If I get pictures from my laptop on my cell phone, it is always only as a PDF and that is annoying… Does anyone have any tips?

Log in on both devices with the same e-mail account and send the data from your mobile phone to yourself via email. Then call it up on the PC.
