Why is the screen of a game suddenly small?

I just started a game and it was top quality on my whole laptop and it worked. Then I started another game briefly and then went back to the other one. Suddenly the screen was squeezed in the middle and on the sides there were black bars where the whole game was before.

Can anyone explain how I can turn the full screen mode back on? (It doesn't work in the settings)

Look in the settings there you will usually find the item resolution. Try your way through the resolutions until you find the right one. Then your game runs across the entire screen again. I hope I could help if you have any questions just get in touch👋🏻

Well ok, I still have the idea that you can set borderless full screen in the settings next time so that you can do other things without problems
