My lap top has suddenly gone into standby from today on (never had this problem before), i.e. Suddenly the screen is black and it has shut down. I then have to press the button a few times so that it comes on again. All of my pages that were open have remained open, which is also why I assume that the standby mode will work, not least because it is not completely out immediately, but will shut down quickly, much like when you let it run normally, just a little faster. Does it annoy me a lot because I don't know why this is suddenly like this? What I also noticed is when he shuts down and switches to standby, a red light with the sun symbol lights up or flashes on the side, which means the "on and off" light - which is why the presumption of standby. I also haven't really switched anything that could trigger it. I moved my lap top a little earlier and it suddenly went into standby. I have no idea why or whether it was a coincidence that nothing happens if I move it slightly now, just wanted to have mentioned it, it could also be important. My lap top is always on the table and is not carried around.
It annoys me because I don't know what that is now, whether I have to worry. Would be really annoying because I bought the LapTop from my savings last year.
Ah it's an Acer Aspire 5, Windows 10
PS: Thank you in advance and stay healthy!
You can change the system operation and power saving mode in the settings, so whether it should never go into standby after 10min 5min, etc
Some laptops simply go into standby when they are fully charged. If you have your power cord inside, just pull it out when it is about 95 and 100% charged. This is also better for the battery. If that should not be the case (meaning that the cable is permanently in there), I unfortunately do not know what to do.
I hope it was helpful and you could do something with it.
Thank you so much! I'm trying now because it just happened to me with the battery cable plugged in and the battery fully charged. So from my entry until today everything was okay and nothing happened but: / as written it just happened again. Let's have a look would be very annoying if my screen or something had loose contact! Thank you for the answer and I pray that maybe it could be the problem, but it would be funny that I've never had the problem since I got this lap top D
I did everything but I don't think that was the problem D:!
But thanks for the answer.
