I'm sweating right now. I just accidentally downloaded electra x and omnisphere without paying for it. I looked for free vsts or alternative "cracks" and came across reddit links, which then brought me to some russian sites where you could download the plugins mentioned. Out of interest, I opened one of the download buttons in a new tab and my laptop suddenly downloaded a .torrent file. I immediately deleted the files because of course I would never steal them, but I'm not sure if I will have a warning in my mailbox in two weeks. Please help me, what can I do, am I guilty, do I have to pay?
The torrent is nothing, just an instruction for the torrent program to unload something.
Next time just do it with VPS ;-)
