So I always print from my laptop, but for a few days the things have not been printed, they end up in the queue. However, it works from my mother's PC. Because of homeschooling I'm totally overwhelmed with it now and hope you can help me.
What should I do?
This usually happens when the printer is empty, i.e. Out of ink / paper or the printer is set up incorrectly. However, since your mother can still print, I would recommend that you set up the printer on your PC again
Is the printer connected by cable or is it a wireless printer?
If cable: Then make sure that the printer software has also been installed and that the corresponding printer has also been selected.
If WLAN: Make sure that you are in the same network, install the printer software and the connection manager and add the printer to your network printers. Then it works.
I recommend you close the laptop completely and shut it down, then turn off the printer completely. Now restart the printer and then the PC delete the jobs from the queue and try again.
Stay healthy
Maybe it's the connection between the laptop and the printer. In order to use a printer, you need the specific printing software on the laptop. It can also be the case that your laptop does not connect to the printer. It may be due to the connection cable between the printer and the laptop or the WLAN connection between the two.
The best thing to do is to first check that the correct printing software is installed on your laptop.
You have to delete the print jobs in the print spooler. As long as these unprocessed print jobs hang in the spooler, no printing is possible.
