Why can't I print from my laptop?

It is like this: We have a family printer at home, an HP ENVI 5640, about 3 years old. Printing from any PC except my laptop is flawless. I bought my laptop new and installed the ducker correctly. However, I can't print; the printer simply says "error" or. In the print queue "Error - Printing". Reinstalling the printer didn't help either, then it even said: "Driver not found". However, I was apparently already able to solve the problem with the driver by deactivating the driver signature. Since then, the error message has simply been "Error". The HP "Print and Scan Doctor" tool did not bring a solution either, although the test page could be successfully printed from there. It is also interesting that the scanning works normally. I have already reinstalled the printer x times and tried all the solutions on the Internet, to no avail. So do you know any other solutions?

Have you already tried to set up the printer on your notebook as a "network printer"?

Pr

No

Then try that.

Pr

I have now released it as a network printer, but the problem still persists.

Remote diagnostics are unfortunately not possible, but have you already tried all of the tips from this website here?

You need to clear the print queue on the laptop.

First go to Service Management in Control Panel. Find and deactivate the printer queue service there.

Then you navigate under C: /Windows/system32/spooler/Print. There you will find all the unprocessed print jobs that are blocking the printer. You can delete the files safely.

Then activate the Print Queue service again in the Control Panel.

The printer will work again.

Unfortunately does not work either: /
