I have a Brother DCP-195C printer. We have this printer for about 4 years. Has everything been OK so far? About 6 months ago I had to buy a PC. The printer had to be connected via USB here, but that was no problem. He also did his job well for 6 months, right now at home office / schooling time everything was going well. Since Sunday he suddenly has not accepted any print jobs. Or it does not seem to be reached, because there's no job in the manage print jobs either.
The printer is still recognized by the PC, it is in ready mode, as always. There was no software update etc. It is selected as the default printer. Ink and paper available. As I said, Saturday still went, Sunday no longer?
Does somebody has any idea? Oh yes, I've done it now and then, it works perfectly with the laptop. PC problem?
Would uninstall the printer driver completely, restart the PC and reinstall the current driver.
I will test times.
Take that for it.

An acquaintance has now tuned in because driver / software installation / installation did not help either and I had to find out that Windows made a software update a few days earlier. In the update details there's seriousness in working on the area USB-supported additional material, e.g. My printer, processed by software. So Windows almost "shot" my printer. Now it's time to buy a new printer or hope that so many people have had Windows fix it up 😡😡😡.
