My wife and I are about to rent a cabin in Austria.
The only catch is that the cottage is not connected to the mains.
We're currently in the process of finding a suitable solution to our problem.
To be operated:
Refrigerator (mini fridge 105kWh / p.a.)
-Kochplatte
-5-6 LED lamps
-evtl a monitor (used as a TV)
-Coffee machine
Mobile / Laptop / Camera charging
-Boiler (hot water)
We've narrowed it down a bit:
A generator with LPG 3000 WATT LPG and gasoline or 5000 WATT.
However, for cost reasons, a generator is not always running. Are there acceptable storage solutions here?
Is it possible to start the engine only when power is needed?
Does anyone have any other way to solve the problem.
(PV becomes a bit difficult due to snowfall and sun poverty).

It can be started via radio as it contains starter with battery

Is not there a kind of '' regulator '' which then acts as an 'emergency generator'? Quasi '' coffee maker on '' -> controller notes '' No power there '' -> unit is turned on.
Except for the fridge, nothing has to be done constantly.
Thank you for the input. It should, however, if it is to become a generator, be one with gas. Is this remote solution possibly retrofitted?
You could charge a larger battery with generator.
From that inverter is supplied.
As soon as the battery reaches a certain minimum voltage, the generator switches on and charges the battery fully. As soon as it is full, the generator switches back to standby
What would a rechargeable battery and inverter look like?

In principle, it would be solar battery and solar inverter.
The battery is however recharged by gas generators.
If this is to run at 3.6 kW you need a lot of space for batteries and inverters, etc
Would you recommend such a supply of camping / ship manufacturer size because it depends on the appropriate power supply.
