Hi. I have a problem with my laptop. It's way too slow because I use way too much RAM and CPU while idling. I've uninstalled all the apps, but I'm still using too much.
CPU: i7 7500U
8GB Ram DDR4
Look in the task manager to see which programs are using the memory. Then you can e.g. Deactivate the autostart or end the process with a right click and then exit.
If your PC is slow you wanted to delete your cache files:
First press win + r so that "execute" opens.
Enter prefetch there and press enter.
A folder opens with cache files that you can delete all.
You can repeat all of this again but you type in% temp% at execute.
Many Thanks!
Task Manager / Performance / Resource Monitor / Disk = Here you can see under disk activity which programs are using memory or hard disk. (Click on Read or Write so that this value is then listed from top to bottom.) (Descending). The program / (path) to the highest value can be found under file, according to the clicked display (always at the top).
If you have not opened a program, so consciously, then have a look in this Task Manager who and what eats so much RAM and / or CPU power ^^
