Which is more powerful in the laptop?
Which models exactly?
Are we talking about the strong H chips or the efficient U chips?
In both cases, the answer would be clear 8th Gen i5. With the H-chips you would have six cores vs. Four cores with hyperthreading. There win the six nuclei. For the U chips, you'd have four hyperthreaded cores versus two hyperthreaded ones. That there win the latter, should be clear. Of course, with the U-chips, the question arises as to whether one needs the power of a corresponding notebook at all.
I7-7000U or i5-8250U
Many Thanks. You seem to have a clue about it. Can you recommend me a good laptop to 650 euro with which I can cut videos? Can also be happy with AMD Ryzen processor, if they are better.
What does "synonymous" cut videos? Also in the sense of besides gaming? The gaming aspect alone will fail. Also in the sense of next to Office? You can set that up, but you can't expect a Power House that can render 4K content in real time and digest a hundred effects in the timeline without missing out.
Also in the sense of next to Office.
I'm not a gamer, if ever so mini-games on Spielaffe or similar
Oh well, okay. The videos should not be elaborate, right?
Mostly Full HD videos
Length, great effects?
Yes maybe around 10 to 15 minutes maximum and with few effects
You could probably try it with 8GB of RAM. Devices with 16GB would also be considerably more expensive. Would you want to upgrade something like this yourself? Is only a few screws loose.
https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de
This one looks pretty good right from the start. Has the latest expansion level to Intel-U CPU in it, ne ordinary SSD and 8GB RAM. Another 8GB RAM module costs 23 euro, if 8GB should not be enough. A 1TB can also be retrofitted for 30 euro. Devices with HDD cost about 100 euro more.
A Ryzen would offer, but the Ryzen notebooks have all 2x4GB RAM installed, so you would have to swap the RAM completely where you would want to go to 16GB.
I do not know about upgrading anyway, so I will not do anything in that direction. Do you also know one that is not from HP? HP I would not like to buy again because I have had very bad experience with it… My current is as good as scrap is also from HP
As I said, my budget is 650 euro (I'm a trainee.)
But would you be basically willing to read you into the topic, or to make the emergency of a PC shop? I'll say it the way it is: If the 8GB of RAM are too few, then the editing becomes a single cramp. And devices with 16GB of RAM by themselves you do not really get on budget.
Basically yes, but I would first try it with 8 GB
8520U is clearly faster
I actually found a notebook, which is perfect in principle:
https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de
Has ne SSD and ne big HDD, has NEN fixed Ryzen and 16GB RAM. In principle, this was the only device under 650 euro with 16GB RAM and a non-HP quad core.
And that's enough for me? So cut office and videos.
If that was not enough, you would have a problem. For Office is basically the lahmste cucumber and for 250 euro you get already devices that can do without stuttering and Zuckler. Important is actually only the SSD.
The important issue here is just video editing and that part is the best deal under 650 euro.
Thank you so much.
Because I have no idea about laptops.
There's also a laptop up to 600 euro, if the videos are less expensive, so maximum Full HD and no more than 5-6 minutes?
Certainly, but I would invest the 50 euro already. You also want to have something longer from the device and also not, if it is then but a little longer video, puking sitting in front of the box, because it just does not work.
What do you think of the laptop?
https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...windows+10
I'm currently short of cash
Hold much less memory and then the matter of RAM. Certainly not bad, just as I said, I would save myself the 50 euro, if it is not absolutely hurry.
That's the problem, it's rushing. My laptop is no longer usable for Office, because it crashes again and again and everything and I need it for school.
No chance to scrape together 50 euro somehow?
I've already thought about how I get at 50 euro, but unfortunately I can't think of anything. My education is low, it is just enough and I saved exactly 592 Euro. I would scrape together the 8 euro by returnable bottles or the like

Then you better take this right here. 100 euro cheaper and with 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD compared to only 256GB SSD the richer memory expansion. For this you have to install yourself since Windows. This is not rocket science and a key costs 15 euro, e.g. On mmoga.
I can't install Windows on it myself, I'm really stupid about something like that
This is just click on and stop all spy options disable or not, if you do not care. The only thing you have to be careful about is choosing the right hard drive for the installation. There's then one with 120 and one with 930GB, because you choose the 120GB with and ready. Everything else goes by itself. If necessary, you can watch a YouTube video.
Can you please show me a similar laptop where Windows is already preinstalled? I really do not want to be annoying, but I have to keep on writing a housework, so it has to be done quickly.
Then you have to decide now: Install the Acer and Windows yourself or Windows pre-installed. But then only one HP remains, what else is not there.
https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...ook+408683
This is preinstalled. But is that enough for me? Oh man, that's all so hard.
Went synonymous, but only has only 256GB of memory. This gets crowded quickly, especially when you want to cut videos. Since an additional 1TB HDD would be appropriate.
Okay then many thanks. I do not want to bother you anymore and take that.
Jo, no problem. Then just have to look how it fits with the memory. If necessary, either have a hard drive retrofitted or simply buy an external USB hard drive.
Yes, I will probably do that too. Just buy an external hard drive.
No thing.
The graphics card AMD Radeon Vega 8 is good enough right?
For Office and so every gammel card. The only has to spend the desktop. When cutting as well.
Ok so for the video cut is that ok?
Yes, otherwise I would have said something much earlier. ^^
Okay, thank you very much.

How is the? Because I would like to order via Amazon
S ** hite. He has no SSD, that's a no-go.
The eighth generation has more cores (just a rule of thumb!) and therefore more power.
In direct comparison, the i5 is better. See: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/...6vsm171274
Do you know a good laptop on Amazon up to 600 euro, which is enough for my requirements?
