HyperX Cloud Alpha has poor microphone quality?

Hi. I have been using the HyperX Cloud Alpha headset for a few months now. This is actually known for its good quality. I only have a laptop which is why I connected it to the jack plug.

The problem is that the headset's microphone doesn't sound particularly good. It even sounds worse than the built-in microphone of my cell phone… Unfortunately I have no idea where the error could be.

Do I have to install any drivers? In the sound settings I set the microphone level to 75% and the microphone gain to +10 dB. Nevertheless, you can still hear all the background noise. In the advanced settings, the standard format is 2 channels, 16 bits, 48000 Hz (DvD quality). Unfortunately, this can't be changed either because the field is grayed out and can't be clicked on. I have no idea where the error is…

So

This may be because you only connected the headset with a jack plug and not with the USB cable, which you should normally use because it contains a sound card, but it can of course also be because your laptop does not contain a good sound card Has. Or it could also be that your microphone is broken on your headset, but I think the problem is that you connected the headset to your laptop with the jack and not with the USB cable that came with a sound card but I'm not 100% sure either.

According to the test, the microphone is simply not that great.

If a third-class sound chip is added to the laptop…
