What are the system requirements for a PC for professional game creation?

Hi

My parents would finance me a laptop for my training as a game developer (I'll pay it off in installments) up to 1,000 euro

Now the question is what my "new" laptop needs for system requirements.

The training is not about indie games (of course at the beginning) but about really professional games. I would also like to start my own business afterwards.

Please no laptop suggestions but explicitly e.g.
"16 GB RAM, at least i7+" etc.

My parents then hire someone who is very knowledgeable, who is looking for a laptop that meets these system requirements. They trust him very much.
