Do not allow iPhone to charge?

I have a quick question and I travel a lot with my laptop and use my iPhone as a hotspot via a USB-C cable, everything works very well.

Only one problem, the cell phone is also loaded automatically, which I don't want because the laptop quickly goes to its knees without charging the cell phone.

Is there a way to switch off the charging on the laptop or mobile phone?

If you're using your iPhone from a hotspot, why are you plugging it into the laptop in the first place? The connection goes over Wi-Fi.

The iPhone hardly charges on the laptop, as the computer USB ports are more suitable for data transfers and, due to the significantly lower charging power, are hardly suitable for charging.
