Install Kali Linux without USB?

Can you install Kali Linux on a notebook without a USB stick?

lo

Yes from a CD. Or even from an SD card (I'm not sure.). Or in a virtual machine.

So I do not have a USB stick and CD (also no CD compartment). I installed it on SD card but my laptop didn't support it. My laptop is far too weak for a virtual machine. And a USB stick would also bring me nothing because my USB connections no longer work properly.

You can also use a CD / DVD. If you are using a CD, you have to select an ISO on the https://www.kali.org/downloads/, where NetInstaller is shown. All other downloads are too big for a CD.

Well, you have no other choice… Could be difficult to install. You could theoretically connect your hard drive from another and install Kali from this PC. And then pack them back in your notebook. The question is whether it works well afterwards. Unfortunately, you can't get around without USB ports these days…

Ro

You can use almost any data carrier for this.

I don't know any other way

ch

Yes, for example with a DVD

Thanks for the star.

You deserve it.
