When I connect my laptop via HDMI to my TV, the desktop is always cut off on all sides. I'm currently watching television over the web and even in full screen mode parts of the picture are missing. I always have to turn on the extra image on the laptop, so that I can finish the full screen mode and can do anything at all.
I almost can't see the taskbar and the upper part is missing.
I have tried all sorts of settings on the laptop and TV, but nothing changes.
If it is important I have a FUNAI LT850-M32
Do you still need any information?
I do not know anything about that at all and Google did not bring me any success either.
"I tried all sorts of settings on the laptop and TV, but nothing changes."
That seems unlikely to me. Try changing the resolution of the HDMI output to match that of the TV. The latter can be found in the user manual. Adjusting the resolution is possible in Windows 10 under Settings> System> Display
That does not work to adjust the resolution.
Yes, you have to click on monitor 2 first.
A TV is not a monitor.
I'm well aware of that. But thanks for the hint. 🤦🏻♀️
I have that.
Then try using WIN + P only the TV.
Thank you, I will try that next time. I'm curious.
