How to transfer Windows ad to Android?

I want to use my Android tablet as a second screen and expand the display on it.

The problem is that all the options that I have ergoogled only work with software on the PC. Since it is a work computer or laptop, I can / may not install any software.

For example, I can stream the display to my Samsung TV without any additional software. Can I also use a tablet? (Apps on the tablet would not be an issue)

You can stream the ad to your Samsung TV for the reason "without additional software" because it is already installed🤦🏻♂️

It doesn't work without additional software. At least not wireless.

Wireless is not a requirement. Would it be via USB? The tab does not have any other connections.

Too bad. What I find funny is that the software to transfer it to the TV must be available on the PC or Windows 10. That there's no app or something to do exactly that with the tab. : /

Well not quite. Samsung has implemented screen mirroring specifically to connect its Galaxy phones (on which the software is already installed) to the TV and to advertise the feature.

You can't really compare a TV to Windows 😅
