Hi, my sister has a laptop with an Android operating system (whoever plays Android on a PC)! The question now is, how can we play Microsoft Windows 10 on it, i.e. Replace Android completely with Windows? The Windows Installer doesn't work because it consists of an .exe!
Download the media creation tool from another device with Windows or Linux, load the file on a stick and boot from the stick
If you have an ARM system, it will not work or, if at all, a Snapdragon / Raspberry Pi.
If you have an x86 CPU, it works like this:
Android on laptops often have cheaper devices. Or maybe you have ChromeOS. ChromeOS is often used by schools because it's good for writing. Android games are played on the PC, because there you have more power and you don't need an extra Android device.
First of all, it is not a problem to run Android on a laptop, as long as it is "Android x86". This is the processor architecture (in this case x86) that actually all modern computers have. (Also have the amd64) If the laptop should be sold with Android, it could be that the computer does not have an x86 / amd64 architecture, but ARM, Windows 10 (as far as I know) does not run on it. If the x86 / amd64 has you can simply make a Windows 10 boot stick and start from that and install Windows.
It would also be important:
x86 = 32 bit Windows
amd64 = 64 bit Windows (32 bit works too)
If you have ChromeOS (looks similar) then it shouldn't be a problem to install Windows 10, ChromeOS is x86.
And what if Android is already on it?
Should go the same way. You only have to click on "Format", but this will delete all data. So make a backup if your sister wants to keep the data. It could also be that your sister has ChromeOS. Looks similar to Android but is worse.
