My notebook is made of aluminum, but unfortunately the underside is made of plastic. Of course that does not feel so good and does not look too good either.
My question: Is it possible to "varnish" the bottom (gray or black) so that it looks a little better (not so important) and b) feels better?
You can easily screw the whole page away, so it's not a problem, the rest of the notebook can't get anything.
Since I have never done anything like that, these spray can things are probably the best, right? What do you all mean? What should I use? Does one of you have experience with it?
(Since this is the bottom of the notebook, it has to endure, of course)
Plastic to paint is not as easy as you think as an additional primer or primer should be used -> otherwise it peels off at times again
OK. What do you recommend to me?
Let me advise you the best professionally… Perhaps in the hardware store of the appropriate head of department is sufficiently trained… Unfortunately, I'm also no paint expert and would like to say nothing wrong now:-)
Normal paint, including one from the spray can, is completely unsuitable. It is quickly removed by the use and is less resistant to abrasion.
The 2 components paints from the boat would possibly be suitable, because I do not know, unfortunately, not good.
Paints always feel like plastic because it's plastic (acrylic resins and polyester resins).
Besides, you can't tear much at home with a spray can. You have to do it professionally in a workshop.
