Apps always stay open when I turn off my laptop?

I have a little problem, and whenever I turn my PC off and then turn it on again, a few certain apps are always open. Even if I always close the apps after switching off.

Can anyone help me?

They may not stay open but will restart automatically.

Go to the task manager, there in autostart and check what you can find there.

If you can't find anything there, look for the task scheduler and the entries there.
