I have amblyopia (left eye) and astigmatism, and I'm also slightly short / - and / or farsighted (unfortunately I don't know exactly), but my right vision is 100% and therefore I don't need glasses.
I have had my left eye or amblyopia trained with certain apps and with the help of 3D glasses for about 3 months (last training was about a month ago, since then I have not trained anymore and have no plans to do so) I still used apps for standard eye exercises without 3D glasses. The point behind these amblyopia apps is that with the 3D glasses you see blue in one eye and red in the other and then play Tetris, for example, so both eyes should practice working together, so much for the meaning behind it. Towards the end of about half a month or a few days until the end of the training, I used two other apps.
With one app there was a note that the use of this app can cause diplopia (i.e. Double-sightedness) in people who cross-eyed, which is not the case with me. Nevertheless, I suspect these apps if something should happen to my eyes.
Now to the problem: Since I stopped doing eye training, I've noticed displays (TV, cell phone, laptop), but especially TV and laptop, i.e. More distant, cell phone seems to me that it is no longer so noticeable while I'm I type that up close that I see letters and numbers (especially white writing on a dark background) almost double or as a 3D moderate shadow in a somewhat weaker contrast. That was not the case before.
Which is really bad and annoying, (for information outside everything is normal, I don't notice anything) as soon as I sit in the car, I see the car headlights twice through the windshield, especially LED headlights very clearly and somehow always upwards. During the day it is not so extremely noticeable, only when I look closely. At night it is really really annoying, because I see headlights, taillights and and and twice and as I said, that is extremely annoying. I've only had the problem since then.
Now the question arises, is it because of the eyes or the pane, but if it were the pane, why didn't I have that before and how is it explained with the displays?
I've already been to the ophthalmologist and he didn't discover anything new about the last examination, he says that I could imagine that and that it would go away, but I'm clearly not imagining it.
As I said: I don't wear glasses and have previously seen excellent with both eyes open, is that a double vision or amorphous ametropia, which I hope neither. Can that have something to do with the cornea or something completely different?
I hope somebody can help me and I really hope that it goes away and I don't need glasses or surgery, can happily take his time (months), but hopefully that will go away again.
Remote diagnosis is impossible
who gave you the app?
I googled myself, at the beginning Lazy Eyes Blocks, towards the end Duovision and GamE Blyopia and general Eye Care Plus for general eye exercises. Everything downloaded from the Play Store.
Is it possible to answer whether something like this is even possible that it happens after a phase of eye training due to the astigmatism, for example? Because before that, these complaints did not occur.
Eye training for astigmatism is esoteric nonsense
The training was related to amblyopia. I have an ophthalmologist appointment tomorrow anyway, a second opinion will surely bring more certainty, thank you anyway!
