We (WG) have recently changed the Internet provider now we have a Vodafone box. Before a Fritz box.
Connecting to the new network was not a problem on the cell phone, TV, tablet, laptop actually it was everywhere. Not on the computer (using a 150Mbps Wireless 802.11bgn Nano USB Adapter). With the Fritzbox was not a problem. Only my computer finds all sorts of networks around here just not the one! If I insert the Wlan stick but in the laptop and there disable all other adapters stick finds the network. Only hald not on my computer.
Please someone can help me, I'm at a loss.
You can even enter the SSID (name of the WLAN) by hand.
Is the calculator also in range of the router?
Check if the stick supports the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz WLAN.
Or you have the default settings on the stick accidentally set to 5 GHz wirelessly, under properties of the wireless stick.
To check out what (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) the Vodafone Box now sends out, check the configuration page of your Vodafone Box, or check it with the free Android Fritz App WLAN: https://avm.de/...zapp-wlan/
