Should you be concerned if the battery adapter gets hot while charging?
Have a Microsoft Surfacebook 2.
This is normal, it is the same with my MSI.
Yes you should. Things like that have already exploded.
This is normal with laptops. If it gets too hot then I would not use the laptop for too long at a time or have it checked whether everything is correct with the battery.
The question is just how high the temperature is… For me, they hardly get really warm. Are just designed to be extremely generous. They are also completely protected against overload by a fuse. Tablet power supplies have burned out several times. Strangely enough, always at night…
Otherwise there are also universal power supplies with fans in stores. Or you can simply use more amps to protect an affected machine. Example: If the power is normally 6A, switch to 8A. A consumer never draws more electricity than needed. Pay attention to the correct tension. The polarity, at least for all my laptops, is always uniformly regulated (be sure to read the operating instructions!).
Also possible: you place the power supply on a heat sink. Basically, I would be more concerned about the battery. If in doubt, there are forums on the net. Pretty much all anomalies and problems are discussed there.
