Keyboard reacts slowly or rarely?

If I want to log into Windows, for example, it takes about 10-20 seconds until the press of the Enter key is recognized. This is not only the case with my PC, but also with my laptop. The keyboard is wired, so that shouldn't be the problem. My sister ran some water over the keyboard yesterday. But only a few drops, so not that bad. Well in any case it still worked yesterday, but I have had these problems for about 2 hours.

Could it be because of the water? If so, what could be done to make it work again?
