I have a ThinkPad with a 3K display and a FullHD monitor via HDMI. If I try to adjust the separate scaling so that I can see well on both Monioren, it automatically changes the scaling of the other monitor by the same factor. Does anybody have a solution?
Which Xserver?
X11 can do that as far as I do not know.
For Wayland there's an experimental feature to allow fractional scaling:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['scale-monitor-framebuffer']"
Afterwards reboot Xserver and in the display settings the scaling should be adjustable independently of each other.
