Operate the device with the wrong cable?

I have such an aroma diffuser here, but can no longer find the cable! Can I just take this off my laptop then?

The cable, yes, but you have to be careful with the power supply. You have to compare the respective values and requirements - if it matches 100%, then you can use it.

The polarity (plus / minus), the voltage (V) and the strength (A) are decisive.

The voltage and the amperage are the same, right? And what about the polarity? So i can't use it?

The input voltage is the same - that means that you can operate it in Germany. You have to make sure that it matches what is written on the output side of the power supply. In your case that would be 20V at 3.25A (-) - (* - (+).

If your diffuser works with 20V, the plug fits, +/- at the plug is the same and the diffuser does not need more than 3.25A then you can use the power supply…
