I worked as usual in the manjaro and wanted to test a new surface again (liveboot)
Then I opened the USB in the plot on it etch and wanted to flash the ISO on it
Well weird as soon as I hit Start broke it off was never like that
I flashed the ISO through the 2t PC plugged in the USB rebooted the laptop and wanted to bios
Then I realized that the BIOS does not recognize my USB
Did I synonymous by ne CD tested did not recognize anything
Thereupon I activated the Legacy Boot and put in the USB
Then I start the operating system through the "live grub" and then came (see picture)
Now everything is gone
Could anyone help me, please?
And yes the USB boots at the. Other laptop no idea why this is not possible
Now nothing goes out of the BIOs
Seems as your boot sector is shot or the hard drive is broken.
If the computer does not boot from Linux Live media (I had 2x), I plug the laptop disk into a computer with optical drive, unplug all the other disk. Install Linux Mint as normal and snap the HD back into the laptop. Now the laptop is running again. Only with the free Linux is something easily feasible.
Meanwhile, I have a spare 2.5 "with a Mint installation to bring any computer in a matter of seconds to run. The plate can be installed or via USB adapter (possibly ICY box for 9 euro) coupled. When switching on, press only the boot menu button.
What's your strategy to get everything working again with Linux?
Thank you
That's exactly how I did it last night, haha, it seems to me that the bios is shot up haha
Defect was not
Just manjaro on it and you know j A what happens when you then activate the legacy mode
I've got everything back now. Was really strange
Defective insofar as you could not boot so had to be switched in boot mode. Problem off the table.
Yes habs with Linux mint in the live OS tried and deleted everything with gpardet
"wanted to install a new operating system anyway"
Then it went slowly again
