Hi. My new laptop arrived yesterday and I noticed that it stopped charging at 93% (there's no longer any text telling you how long it will continue to charge and the percentage does not go up). Is that to save the battery?
Actually they stop with us at 98%. But 93% would be even better, because the last% are the most strenuous. But that's not normal.
The brand and name of the laptop would be interesting.
Is an MSI GP66 Leopard. I don't have the exact model in my head, but I could look for it if that were important.
Here are the different opinions on the subject

Many Thanks. Then it is apparently also a technique for me to extend the service life, because then there's nothing next to the percentage. So no time to fully charge or anything else.
