Why is the laptop battery not charging?

the laptop flashes when I plug it into the charger and it does not charge. How do I get it to the store?

May be due to the battery or the charger. So there's no answer.

Is there any point in replacing the charger or cleaning the battery?

It helps if you check the charger to see whether it is delivering the correct voltage. If the battery is too old, it will not charge.

Was the case with my old one too, I switched to the desktop.

You take out the plug that is in the socket, and briefly take hold of both silver things (don't know how they call it xD), put the plug back in the other way around. If that doesn't work, plug it into a different socket and it should work.
