I recently got a 1990 IBM computer and there was a keyboard with it. Since I still need a suitable cable for the computer until I can use it, I thought I could test the keyboard on my laptop. So I connected the keyboard to a PS2 to USB adapter and plugged it into my laptop. When I tried to use the keyboard nothing happened. Does the keyboard simply need more power or do I need a suitable driver for it?
I understand your interest in doing something with the thing. But that belongs in a computer museum, or in the disposal. Don't invest any money in any accessories!
Thank you for answering my question

Because the USB drivers are probably out of date or not installed.
What operating system do you have?
Windows 10
WIN10 will never run properly on the old box. Too modern. Install WIN7 or older or get a PC from the 2010s
