I recently bought a new charging cable because my old one was broken at the entrance to the notebook.
now the plug of the new charging cable is broken and i would like to replace the cable from the socket to the power supply. I'm not sure because the input data are different.
the data from the new is:
input: 100-240V-1.5A and 50-60Hz
the old one has:
100-240V-1.8A and 50-60Hz
can I replace the cable even if there's more energy in the power supply?
So you mean the power cord?
That's not a problem if it fits.
Great, then I'll just try it! I was just afraid that it would blow up here because too much energy was flowing into it. 😊
No need to be afraid. The power supply is also not overloaded if a cable with a higher load capacity is connected. The power supply simply pulls as much as it needs over the cable.
