I have a question. Since I recently bought a new iPad, I'm interested in whether this can also be used for video conferences, e.g. Can use for school. (Example IServ etc.) or do you have to have a webcam for this? Wouldn't like to buy a laptop now.
I have an iPad Pro 2020, which I bought for my studies and can tell you that MS Teams and Zoom work very smoothly here, if not even better than on a PC. The apps are, in my opinion, Looking more pleasant to use than on Windows.
Have exactly the same iPad.
Yes, it should normally be possible. I've already used my tablet for Skype, BigBlueButton and Zoom. Everything went perfectly. You have to see whether it works with your provider and, if necessary, download an app
The only thing that doesn't work with iPadOS and Android is sharing your own screen or an application window in the video conference (e.g. To present a result / solution).
So if you want to know if the programs run on the device, at least I haven't heard of any problems, the usual programs work on the Ipad. When it comes to the camera, you can buy an external one or use the iPhone as a camera with an app.
But I can't tell you whether you need a webcam for the lesson, it depends on the teachers, some do not want one.
Try it out with Whatsapp or Skype. If you have a Google account then herewith https://support.google.com/...DiOS&oco=1
