New, fresh windows install?

I put together a PC, so proud and installed Windows. Talk to the Media Creation Tool from the laptop Win on a USB stick and installed on my PC. But ever since, I have been finding things that I have set on the laptop, e.g. My wallpaper?! Does the Media Creation Tool make a kind of image of my current Windows? I'd like to have a brand new, fresh Windows, bought a key extra, but I'm not satisfied. Does anyone have an idea or is everything right and that happened anyway?

No, that's what signing in through your Microsoft account. It is just being synchronized. Create a local account if you do not want that.

I did not think about the account, that explains it, thanks!

If you want your described new, fresh Windows, you would first have to delete everything from the hard drive (important data, of course, secure), as it is often the case with Windows, that new installations often update only the current version. I already happened. The "old" Windows should be stored in a folder called "Windows_old" or similar on the computer.

Incidentally, you can choose in the settings what sync everything should be synonymous or disable synonymous.

You probably signed in with Windows / Microsoft account. This takes over your settings. I have the same with my PC and laptop and I think it's great, because it's my settings, wallpapers etc. Are. If you do not like it you have to look, if and where you can change that. I have not dealt with it, because I think it's good

The registration with a Microsoft account had had bad consequences for me several times. When syncing, all contacts disappeared, and next to my local username suddenly appeared an additional user whose name consisted of an original user name reduced to 8 digits. Several other changes and interventions by Microsoft have forced me to use only a local account and avoid the Microsoft account, even though it does not allow me to take advantage of some of the capabilities of Windows 10.
