Have a problem with my laptop. I recently changed things in the settings and no longer know how to reset it.
Recently, every new page you click on has opened a window where you can accept cookies or log in to Google. Before that, a window like this hardly ever opened.
Does anyone know how to change it?
That has to do with data protection - I'm annoyed about that too. I regularly delete all cookies in my browsers that I use, at least once a week or more often. You can also set the browser so that it automatically deletes all cookies as soon as it is closed.
And as soon as you call up the page again, the nonsense starts all over again, even though "save setting" was clicked, for example with Girlfriend
You have probably set your browser so that it deletes all cookies when you close it. As the law now requires all pages to ask which cookies they are allowed to save and of course save this selection as a cookie, the selection is lost when the browser is closed and will be requested again the next time.
We were once again done a disservice. Where in the past you could protect yourself by simply deleting the cookies, you have to allow them now because otherwise you get the nonsense every time - annoying!
