I got a laptop today and would like to start playing some games. Are there any that you would recommend?
Minecraft, Minecraft and then there's Minecraft
What is built into the laptop? So we know which games he gets to run at all ^^
That depends a lot on what kind of laptop it is. Can you give us the specs, since every game doesn't work well or at all on every laptop. If it's an Intel Celeron, you can give up right away. No, fun, we're sure to find something.
To be honest, I don't know that much about it. I didn't choose him. It's just an Asus VivoBook if it helps you. How can I see what is installed?
Depending on your taste, I like to play survival or building games or simulators
The former have insider tips such as Ecco or Green hell
Yes it depends on which genres you like.
If you like racing games you should check out Dirt.
Shooter I would recommend Rainbow Six Siege or Valorant or something.
I'm not so involved in story games on the PC.
Download Steam and have a look around the store (watch a few trailers and so on)
I still have a few more game codes for Steam from Lootboy could give you some for free and some for little money. (Just write me at Insta: likelukli)
(Your components also play a role if I should help you there a little, wrote Insta)
Hope I could help!
Well, there are Asus Vivobooks with i3 and Intel HD graphics and some with i7 and Nvidia GTX 1050. With the latter, even somewhat "demanding" games will be quite possible, with Intel graphics not even Minecraft will run smoothly. So: Difficult to say…
I suppose you are rather younger?
"Plants vs. Zombies" is a very fun game that should run on all computers without any problems. I can definitely recommend it.
"Minecraft" has already been mentioned by others and is of course always an option.
And if the computer should take it, I can personally recommend the games "World of Tanks" and "World of Warships". But you definitely need the gtx 1050 if you want to have fun.
I don't know if that's what you mean but it's an Asus vivo book and I googled how I can look it up and the laptop says "Installed memory (RAM): 20.0 GB", "Available memory: 16 , 5 GB "," Total virtual memory: 22.8 GB "," Available virtual memory: 19.7 GB "," Paging file size: 3.38 GB "," Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics, 2000 MHz, 8 core (s), 8 logical professor (s) "," System type: x64-based PC ", I'm not familiar with this, I hope it is correct if you need anything else please let me know.
Thanks for your answer. I'm not sure if it's the right one, but I gave more information under a different answer.
Okay, that looks pretty neat BUT you don't have a real graphics card. You have integrated a graphics chip in the processor, but games will not run really great on it. Therefore, you can only recommend games to a very limited extent. I try anyway. You can also give the games back on Steam
Minecraft
Portal 2
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1,2 and 3
Half-Life 2
The old Tomb Raider games around until Anniversary, possibly even nkch underworld, the games from the respective publisher are very cheap on sale.
2D games like Dora 2, Leage of Legends and something like that.
Generally older games, such as GTA San Andreas or earlier parts, Assassin's Creed 2 or even Black Flag.
Otherwise, I can recommend just browsing on Steam and, if you like a game, go to the following page:
https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
And then to see if your PC can play the game. Often it is enough because your PC is just below it. As I said, you can request a refund in an emergency.
The processor looks good. I have no experience with this Radeon 7 graphic, according to the benchmarks that I found it can be compared with the Vega 8 graphic, for an IGPU that would be decent in any case.
You should be able to play Minecraft with it, WoT possibly with medium settings. SimCity is also recommended, but unfortunately expensive.
Here are a few benchmarks with your setup:
(You should achieve at least 30fps, 60fps is actually the value to strive for.)
