Build light in mouse?

Well, maybe my idea comes across as stupid, but in my mind it's mega cool 😂

In any case, I have a boring, old, black mouse for my laptop. I recently found such a little light in me.

And that's when I had the brilliant idea to somehow build it into the mouse 😂

Here are some pictures:

Build light in mouse

Would it be possible to build in the light?

In my opinion, it would definitely be cool 😂

And yes, I know I could just buy a new mouse, but I think doing it myself is kind of cooler hehe.

If you can find the power pins, it should work. With the 3V you don't need any resistors.

Problem: The mouse is black. That will shine inside and that's it.

cr

Cool project. Try it. The only problem is, where should it shine out? Built in extra windows, if so, how do you make sure that your hands don't scratch the edges when using the mouse?

Fr

As you can see in the picture, I'm going to poke holes right and left.

Maybe it looks stupid in the end, but experimenting a little is definitely cool 😂

and thank you!

Gl

Oh sorry, didn't read that.

They only light up when the mouse is on. Yes.

Fr

Okay, cool thanks, if I tried, I'll let you know if it worked 😁

Fr

Could I write to you privately?

So here on request

I need a little help 😅

lo

First try out with ONE battery what is plus and what is minus with the light emitting diodes. With the voltage of 1.5 volts you don't need a series resistor.

I would then go to connect the positive pole of the 2nd Led with the negative pole of the 1st. And then the whole thing with the battery compartment.

I only see one small problem here and that is the switch. If you connect directly to the battery compartment, the light only goes out when the batteries are empty or have been removed.

how does the mouse look from below? Do you somehow see a switch?

Fr

Yes, there's a switch below to turn the mouse on and off

lo

Is that a button or a slide switch?

Fr

Slide switch

lo

Then you would have to follow the circuit diagram and see that you branch off the plus or minus pole behind the switch, depending on whether the switch switches plus or minus. Then connect the other pole to the battery.

Fr

Okay, I'll try, thank you
