I waver between two used notebooks?

Thinkpad T430 core i7 3rd Gen 195 Euro

Thinkpad T420 core i5 2nd Gen 160 Euro

Both needed.

The first one is of course slightly better, but costs 35 eur more. Is it worth it?

I would take the 420. The difference is not so huge and if I'm not mistaken, an i7 needs much more battery.

I think the 35 euro are worth it, the laptop should last for a while. Is just the question if such an old notebook is still worth it, because of battery etc.

Refurbished should both have an acceptable battery.

The T420 is enough.

The performance difference to the T430 is very low.
