There are 2 different Minecrafts to buy on the Mojang website. There's Minecraft: java Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. I play on a PC and wanted to know what the difference is, which Minecraft most let's players have and which is better
I recommend the Java Edition. This has the largest range of functions and is also used the most.
Before installing Minecraft Java Edition, you must first install Java: https://github.com/...0.6_10.msi This is the open source version. It is 100% compatible with Oracle Java.
The Java Edition is the original Minecraft. This is the better version.
I would recommend java to you. This is the "standard" version, which you also see with all youtubers. Windows 10 Edition is also known as Minecraft "Bedrock" Edition. Unfortunately, there's a lot of criticism in this version and the general style of play also differs greatly in some respects.
I recommend the Windows 10 version.
