Sometimes or quite often my laptop disconnects from the WLAN and when I turn it on it no longer connects automatically. That can be pretty annoying when I'm in a lap.
a few weeks ago that wasn't the case…
Congratulations, it's a Wi-Fi!
In the meantime, your laptop may decide to use a different WLAN to which you have no access. Try to see if the problem can be solved by activating "Connect automatically".
1. Is it authorized to connect automatically.
2. Remove Wi-Fi and reconnect
Have you already checked the tips from other users? Especially with regard to the automatic connection to another W-LAN network?
What does it look like in your Wi-Fi network? Are there a particularly large number of devices registered there, which disrupt / overload the network?
Try to give the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz frequency bands different names in the wireless settings of your router. Then you can "force" your laptop to e.g. The 5 Ghz frequency band.
Basically, a connection via LAN cable is always preferable. Especially when you want to gamble.
