Notebook is constantly recognized as a new device?

I have a program running that needs a license and where you can only use it with the license on the computer where it is activated.

If you want to use the problem on another computer instead, you first have to "decouple" it and then activate it on the new computer.

Now I have the problem that, for whatever reason, my computer keeps being recognized as a new computer.
As if I wanted to use the program on one computer although it is still activated on another computer.

Which of course disturbs the program and doesn't work.

I then have to decouple it and reactivate it, then it will run again for a few hours.

This is of course annoying and not permanent, the program should actually run all by itself, without my intervention.

Why is it that my computer is suddenly recognized as another machine even though it is obviously not?

That was just a guess. I would look in the software documentation from when it is considered a new computer.

There are simply several possibilities why you have the problem
