I would like to know what the best virus protection program for the PC or notebook is. It really should be able to detect and fix every tiny and stubborn problem.
I think the paid full version of Avira Antivirus won't be enough, right?
I've had Bitdefender for years and haven't had any problems.
In my experience, Malwarebytes is by far the best anti-virus program on the market, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative I would recommend it first.
I can only advise you against Avira because this company has already known several times that it sells data, this went as far as some of the data could be traced back to people.
Windows Defender under Windows 10 is now really useful, but it is also the main target.
Thanks, this? :

Yes, I have total security.
Thanks, what would you recommend me as a cheaper alternative?
Oops, I'm on the phone sry. - ESET was meant ^^
Thank you
No problem. What version of Malwarebytes do you have exactly?
There's no best. But here's a little overview…

… It shows that Windows Defender is completely sufficient. You don't have to spend any money.
I would stick with Defender and also create a Kaspersky Rescue USB boot stick. This also gets rid of extremely stubborn pests. Even those that can't be removed with Windows running. And this is how you create it:
Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk ISO: https://support.kaspersky.com/de/viruses/krd2018
Then write the ISO to an empty formatted USB stick with Rufus https://rufus.ie/.
Then boot the stick and follow the instructions of the wizard. It is self explanatory.
For me, the Kaspersky Rescue USB boot stick has already removed malware where other antivirus programs have failed.
Thank you very much
Many Thanks
