I'm looking for a girlfriend a notebook to 350 euro. I think 8GB ram, quad core processor and 750GB hdd (ssd does not want it, you'd rather more capacity) should be in it right?
Can you recommend something?
Including WIN10 pro, the offer is really not bad. 👍
The N4200 is grottig slow. If you have waited for half an hour for a Windows Update, even though you only wanted to look into his e-mails for a short time, it's a joke. You get stable used business laptops for 350 euro euro. They are then 3 years old (already deducted from the tax), but they have housing, which are worth many hundreds of €. A 3 year old i5 hits the N4200 in the pan. And if you're lucky, the price includes an SSD. If you still want to do without an SSD these days, you really have to get away from it all.
Already correctly so, but under the defaults was u.a. No SSD but HDD desired. And for 350 Ocken you can't expect a peak performance, of course. In addition, the used would probably no current Windows on it.

Although this is only a 128 GB SSD, so probably against a larger exchange. But the device is faster and more stable than a current N4200:

News Windows 10 Pro 64 bit is already on it. Cost: 280 euro + additional costs for larger disc (for example 85 euro for 500 GB Samsung EVO).
You're quite right. That's why I would buy a used one at such a small price. The price drop is so drastic that it's worth it all the time.
