OS: Windows XP

Drivers are up to date.

Is an old device that I'm trying to repair.

If I restart the NB, then appear in the bottom of the wireless network devices, a number of devices that I can also dial.

But right after that they disappear and do not show up again.

What can this be?

The network card will not be defective nciht, and I have network in the LAN

If you remove the LAN cable, is that back then or Will the WLANs be displayed again when you call the network?

Usually this only appears until you have dialed into a network

P.S. I would no longer use Windows XP because there's no support anymore. You can turn this device into a Chromebook for free. The Cloudready operating system is a free Linux-based custom Chrome OS that you can install on any device. As a web browser is not Google Chrome, but the open source Chromium used. Here is the download: https://davrt8itj6cgg.cloudfront.net/cloudready-free-72.3.30-32-bit/cloudready-free-72.3.30-32-bit.zip

Unpack the ZIP and then write the image with this tool https://www.balena.io/...io/etcher/ on an empty USB stick with at least 8GB.

Then simply boot the stick and follow the instructions of the installer. It offers the possibility to completely delete the hard disk. After completing the installation and restarting, just log in with the Google Account. In the settings in the section Plugins you can install Flash, Codecs and Widevine with just one click. Then restart and your Chromebook is ready. All updates are fully automatic in the background.

So you can continue to use an old device meaningful.
