I'm now at the end of the 9th grade on a high school, after the summer holidays I'm accordingly in the 10th grade.
Now tablets have been allowed for us, and 4 other students are already using some, their experiences are so far positive. We can't get internet and I do not have a flatrate (and I do not plan to buy one). That is, I could actually use the tablet only for copying and perhaps make presentations. I would still have to take the books with me, only the booklets would be dropped.
Nevertheless, I put it in front of my practical to be able to make his HA easier, for example in the waiting room by the doctor or just in the garden. I can also imagine that you can prepare yourself a little earlier for example at the university, where many notebooks / tablets use (?)
What do you all mean? Meaningful or not? Do you use tablets at school yourself?
Sinvoll, because
you protect the environment (no booklets)
Prepare for your future (technology is increasingly in the foreground)
and have it more convenient (less to haul, homework can do as I said on the road, no 2957183 note)
Only for notes and as Heftersatz I see little advantage because you can work with the book on the bus or similar and a tablet on the games are potentially more distracting.
But: with WLAN, it can help with homework that requires a research or learning software can be easily used.
I think it must be weighed in terms of how much use and potential distraction in each student's weight.
Thank you. Wlan I would not say yes as I said D
Can still come. But which household does not have Wi-Fi?
That there's no one at school ok, but at home?
I have Wi-Fi at home. Was probably a misunderstanding. But when I'm home I have a PC to research anyway.
I currently have a Galaxy Tab S4, which I also use at school. I had originally bought it for other reasons and discovered shortly after the purchase with the correspondence. I'm still in the 12th grade and have one more year. I'm the only one besides another who uses his tablet with on-screen keyboard using a tablet in the classroom.
Working on a task (such as homework) is not so optimal on the bus / train. I write with it with a pen (S-Pen) and do not type with the on-screen keyboard or a physical keyboard. To write a note is, as well as pen and paper, a table advantage. Without a table or pad to put down the font is more a scrawl, not so nice font.
I mostly use my tablet as a college block replacement. Worksheets are not output digitally. I fill in individual sheets to fill in with a camera. For many, I still use the pen with ink. The paper consumption and weight of the bag has already dropped.
Otherwise, I also use my tablet for presentations. It supports video output via the USB port, so you can connect it to the projector or smartboard.
I'm lucky that there's Wi-Fi for the students at school. I occasionally use this for research, for example when To create a presentation or folder. My model does not have a SIM card slot, so I sometimes open a hotspot. Of course you should have mobile internet on your mobile phone.
In the private environment, I use my tablet very often and look on the way to school, for example. Netflix on the tablet.
As long as you do not use Tablet for non-school purposes, you should not buy a tablet. If you use it privately and it fits into everyday life, there's nothing wrong with using it in school.
"Protects the environment" Do you actually know how harmful the cell phone, tablet, etc. Battery production is generally? By contrast, paper damage is a joke.
Yes, that was a stupid statement
Insight is the best way to get better, right?
