Driver Problems with the Pen Tablet: How can I get rid of the wrong driver?

So here from the beginning:

I own a Star Tablet 03 from XP-Pen, which I use for some time now. In the shared family laptop, however, the tablet suddenly did not seem to work properly (I think it was no longer recognized correctly, because the tablet itself works flawlessly). I tried the old laptop for a while, but it did not help.

I finally bought my own laptop yesterday. This morning I wanted to set up the tablet. Since I have not integrated a drive, but the required driver is on a CD, I have downloaded the supposedly correct on the XP-Pen page and installed. (I completely forgot that you can use it via USB stick)

When I wanted to open the link, the program told me every time that no tablet is recognized and I should connect it again please. My father (who knows a lot about this) explained to me that I should not have connected the tablet before installing the driver, otherwise the PC somehow takes its own wrong driver (?)

If I connect the tablet now, it will be set up as "Tablet 1060N". I can use the stylus to move and click the mouse, but the laptop does not respond to the buttons or pressure. We've already tried removing the wrong driver or swapping it with the right one, but somehow it can't be uninstalled.

I would be grateful for any help and would like to provide more information! If nothing helps, I can just buy a new tablet, but I would like to avoid this: /

How are you trying to uninstall the drivers?

If all is of no use, then reinstall Windows. So the drivers are definitely gone.

We somehow got it right again yesterday and I thought that everything was fine. When I plugged in the tablet this morning, all the progress was gone and it did not respond to keystrokes or pressure. We're trying it again and now the device manager does not seem to recognize it anymore?

OH MY GOD MY FATHER HAS FINALLY RETURNED IT! The problem has now finally settled, but thanks for the help!
