Screen goes off on the side of the laptop?

I'm not a computer expert or anything and can't explain that in more detail, I'm not sure whether this is the screen or not, but when I close my laptop it opens on the side. Just happened now. Yesterday I had this noise but there was nothing and thought I was imagining it

but now i see this As if it were part of

laptop blown and can no longer be attached. I already tried to squeeze together to see if it would close, but unfortunately it didn't work. Do i have to do something? And everything still works. Can you do something or do some repairs? It's not a cheap laptop either.

The hinge seems to show "weaknesses". Can be repaired - costs according to effort and type of construction

Immediately back to the shop if the warranty is still on and don't let yourself get rid of. You have two years.

We had something like that with a cheap Medion laptop. They seriously wanted to fob me off with the fact that laptops weren't meant to be opened and closed every day. I seldom get loud, but that's when I made a big deal.

I think because of my cat the screen pushed too far back and the metal inside it broke

So you're going to need a new hinge. Depending on the design, this costs more or less - but always less than a new arithmetic servant. You will have to give it to service.

This is a msi laptop and was 1200 euro or so. Not that cheap. Then unfortunately go to service tomorrow.
