PC and thunderstorms. Is there something like voltage equalizers - and what are they really called?

Well, you used to pull all the plugs in the house when it flashed and thundered.

So I'm probably asking for a lightning rod for pc, laptop. Just in case.

You are looking for "surge protection". There are corresponding power strips.

Normally, eh the fuse flies out in front of it! Otherwise: Have a power strip with surge protection. Has worked in the last storm and works even with power fluctuations!
