You pay via Amazon (pay) and then it's safe. Fraudsters then usually get in touch and suggest that you transfer money that way. There have already been various articles on this.

That can be one of the well-known scams that unfortunately appear again and again on Amazon.
Does it say somewhere that the dealer should be contacted by email before ordering? Then it is clearly a scam! Such fraudulent sellers have hacked the shop of a supplier with good ratings, lure them with unusually low prices and then try to process the order "bypassing Amazon". If you fall for it and pay directly to the seller, the money is gone and you NEVER get goods.
The Amazon buyer protection (A-Z guarantee from Amazon) does NOT apply in such cases, because the order and payment were NOT properly processed by Amazon.
