Looking for an old text adventure in the forest?

I'm looking for an old game. I think it was a DOS game or a very old Windows game. It was a text adventure for children. I don't remember well. There was definitely a forest and small huts (I think they were in tree stumps).

There are a lot of old adventure games that have been crumbled so that you should be able to play them without problems on newer machines. Some of them are free (e.g. Beneath a steel sky) and others are available for relatively little money.
