I have a somewhat older laptop on which I just wanted to put the Antivir on it.
Error message came, the operating system is no longer supported.
Is windows 7, mind you.
Then thought it might be due to the updates.
That maybe it's just not the latest version of Windows7.
After a second search it turned out that the Windows Update file itself is not available and therefore of course can't be started.
Do you know how or where you can get them again?
Just say you haven't heard of the expired WIN7 support?

Well, it wasn't that short ago. The end of support on January 14 has been known for years.
I think the Windows update is missing is rather unlikely.
I rather suspect that you get the error message from the antivirus program because the support for Win 7 is / has been discontinued.
